FAQ
What’s your work process like?
I read through the requests and work in the order they were submitted in. Once the request is processed I reach out via email and we schedule a time to talk over DMs or Voice Call. We discuss the specifics of the work needed as well as the cost and time of completion. Finally, I send an invoice with the agreed information.
Payment of the invoice in full is confirmation so when I see it, that’s my green light to start.
For more complex jobs, I work in “passes.” Meaning I lay out elements of the video start to finish, building on top of the video for each pass through. Because of this, I often render out clips of versions to show to make sure I’m on the right creative path.
3 Re-edits per work included in each purchase, 50% of price for each re-edit after the 3rd re-edit.
Upon the job’s completion the client will receive a link to their purchase. After the final review and okay from the client, the job is done!
I keep files for 30 days in the link before deleting them.
Are prices locked at what’s shown?
No, all prices listed are a bid for my work. Prices depend on a number of factors namely; scope, quality and consistency. If there’s a way to make a deal that’s beneficial to both parties, I’m always happy to negotiate.
Can I pay after the work is done?
Probably no, but it depends. Unfortunately I’ve had too many interactions with people who refuse to pay after work is completed. Generally I would prefer to be paid up front.
What Programs do you use?
I typically use Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Maya & NukeX. I’m familiar with other editing & compositing software as well, those are just what I use personally~
Will you edit for me for free?
Probably no. I only do things for free on a whim. I just can’t commit to favors when I have paid work coming in. I might be able to help depending on the request. :)
I have a show / Movie idea, can you help?
Yes! But before I can commit to anything I need a 1-on-1 meeting over Discord, Skype or Zoom.
Contact me and list that you’re reaching out for a “business inquiry”.
Will you teach me?
Sure. That is to say, I can try to help you. I don’t have a formal process for teaching but if you need help on the basics of content creation, I can help! Go to Purchases and select “Consulting” from the list.
Do you still make your own content?
Yes! I stream on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv
And I promise I’ll get back to videos too. Busy times~
